Lucía won the Spanish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with “Que me quiten lo bailao” and subsequently signed with Warner Music. Her fifth album, “Cruzo los dedos,” released in April 2011, included Spanish versions of songs from her previous album, with the exception of “Adiós rios, adiós fontes” in Galician. At Eurovision 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, she finished 23rd overall, but 16th in televoting. Pérez released her sixth album, “Quitapenas,” in June 2014, and in May 2018, her seventh album “Quince soles” featured collaborations with artists like Chenoa, Rosa Cedrón, and Chema Purón. The single “Tocando enfrente” was her first release from that album. In february 2019, she teamed up with Chema Puron for a concert. With Zé Amaro she recorded a song, “Tudo se Paga”, that was released in May. The song gained over a million views on YouTube. She also started as a judge in the show A Liga Dos Cantantes on TVG. In February 2020 her new single “Terra” was released. During the COVID19 lockdown she teamed up with many artists for home concerts named instagramlive. Among others, she took part at the Eurovision preparty ES home. In December 2021 Lucía released a new single, “Na miña pel”. She was able to perform this song on a show at Americateve41, a Spanish tv station in Miami, Florida. In June 2022 she teamed up with Eva Iglesias for a duet, “Sementeira”. In January 2023, “La penúltima” was released, a song recorded in Miami. In September, this song was followed by a new one: “La Salida”, followed in December by “Guerrera”. Formed in 2002, the band was made up of lead singer Raquel del Rosario from the Canary Islands, and Asturian musicians Juan Luis Suárez and David Feito, both on guitar. Before their current incarnation, the trio played under the name Xemà, releasing an album titled “Del Interior” in 2002. However, it was their reformation as El Sueño De Morfeo that truly brought them into the spotlight. Their debut album as El Sueño De Morfeo, released in 2005, was a massive success in Spain. The album was certified as a gold record and produced several hits, including “Nunca Volvera,” “Okupa de Tu Corazón,” and “Esta Soy Yo.” The latter song also earned Raquel del Rosario a nomination for Best Song at the Principality of Asturias Awards. In 2007, they followed up their successful debut with a second album titled “Nos vemos en el camino,” which further solidified their place in the Spanish music industry. This was followed by two more albums, “Cosas que nos hacen sentir bien” in 2009 and “Buscamos sonrisas” in 2011. The band represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. Their song “Contigo hasta el final (With You Until The End)” unfortunately did not fare well in the competition, finishing in the 25th place out of 26 contestants. They decided to take a break as a group, and at the end of 2014 they announced that they would reunite in January of the following year to record their next album. However, they ultimately decided to pursue separate paths, not having taken it as a definitive breakup. Raquel moved with her family to the United States. They made a joint musical collaboration in 2020 during the lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis online. In June 2022, following the initiative of Prensa Ibérica, they gave a reunion concert at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo, the proceeds of which were donated to those affected by the eruption of the La Palma volcano. Although Juan Luis was present and helped organize the event, he could not play the guitar. They announced that this would be their last concert and that they have no plans to resume their career as a group. When Edurne was 7 years old, she participated in a musical group called Trastos, with whom she released 3 albums and performed on the TV program TVE Música sí and at Reyes Magos. Before her appearance on Operación Triunfo, she had minor roles in series such as Ana y los siete on TVE, Hospital Central, and Robles, investigador, and she did various TV commercials. In 2005, she competed in the fourth edition of Operación Triunfo. She was eliminated in the final stages of the program after being nominated only once, becoming the sixth finalist. After her time on OT, she signed with the record label Sony Music. In 2006, she released her first album titled Edurne. It reached number 3 on the Spanish sales charts in its first week. The first single, “Despierta,” debuted at number 5 on the physical singles sales charts in Spain. In the summer of the same year, the song “Amores dormidos,” composed by one of the members of La Oreja de Van Gogh, was released as the second single. He was born in Sabadell, Barcelona. In 2014 he rose to fame after winning the second edition of the regional contest for young musical talents Teen Star. It allowed him to sign his first record contract with TeenStarRecord. He also recorded the first theme of his authorship debuting as a composer, entitled “Brand new day”. In 2016 Manel signed with the record label Sony Music Entertainment (SME), and released his first single, “Candle”. With his new song, “Do it for your lover”, Manel participated in Objetivo Eurovisión 2017, the preselection to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The voting ended in a tie with Mirela, who had been the winner of the popular vote. The jury voted again to break the tie and, by two votes to one, Manel was chosen as representative in the face of criticism and boos from the audience. He is better known under his stage name Miki Núñez or simply Miki. He is a Spanish singer. Miki studied two years of Primary Education with a bilingual mention at the University of Barcelona, but when he was going to do the third year career entered into Operación Triunfo. Before becoming nationally known, he was a vocalist for the group Dalton Bangs, a cover band. As a result of his time in OT18, the group was renamed “Miki & The Dalton’s. In 2018, Miki auditioned for the tenth season of Operación Triunfo. He reached the semifinal, getting the sixth position. As a contestant on Operación Triunfo, he was a candidate to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. For the first phase of the selection process, he was awarded three songs: “Elequilibrium” and “La venda” solo, and “Nadie se salva” in a duet with Natalia Lacunza. “La venda” was selected through the public vote to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in May in Tel Aviv. In the Eurovision final, Miki became 22nd.
