In 2020, she moved to Copenhagen, where she combined her studies psychologie with singing lessons. In 2023, she took part in Söngvakeppnin, the Icelandic final for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “Lifandi inni i mer” (live inside me). Diljá won the competition with the English version of the song, “Power”, and competed in Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool. Unfortunately she didn’t manage to reach the final in the contest.
