Mirna Radulović, Nevena Božović, and Sara Jovanović first connected during the initial rounds of Prvi glas Srbije‘s second season, an equivalent of The Voice in Serbia. They were all chosen by judge Aleksandra Radović for her team. They reached the finale on 20 January 2013, clinching the top three positions with Radulović leading, followed by Božović and Jovanović. In February 2013, the trio, now called Moje 3, was set to participate in Beosong 2013, Serbia’s Eurovision 2013 selection event. With their track, “Ljubav je svuda” (English: Love Is All Around), they emerged as Beosong 2013 victors, earning the honor to present Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. Before the contest, Moje 3 rolled out various versions of their song in assorted arrangements and languages and performed at the Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam on 13 April 2013. At the Eurovision 2013, Serbia performed last in the first semi-final on 14 May but didn’t progress to the finals, landing at 11th position with 46 points. Interestingly, Moje 3 received the Barbara Dex Award, a playful nod to the contest’s most distinctively dressed artist. Though they had achieved success together, Radulović, Božović, and Jovanović clarified that Moje 3 was not a long-term project. By May’s end in 2013, they disbanded, with each artist focusing on individual pursuits. As a child, Tijana sang in school performances, and while attending high school, she was a member of the hip hop and dance group Chess, with whom she recorded several demo songs. However, her career really started when she met Vlada Georgiev and started performing with his band as a backing vocalist in 2001. In parallel with that engagement, she founded the alternative band Shanene, which soon became one of the leading bands in the club scene. He currently lives and works in Boston, USA. As a solo singer, she participated in Beovizija 2009, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. She performed the song “Pazi šta radiš”. Tijana did not make it to the final. In 2011, Tijana got the chance to enter the Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist for Nina at the 2011 contest. On February 27, 2017, Serbian broadcaster RTS announced that Tijana was going to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “In Too Deep”. In the second semi-final stage of Eurovision, Tijana Bogićević failed to qualify for the Eurovision final. Tijana’s Eurovision song was followed by two songs in Serbian, “Ti imaš pravo” and “Besuslovno”. Both songs were included in Tijana’s debut album “Čudo”, which was released in 2018. In 2019, she teamed up with Sara Milutinović for the single “Širina”. In 2020, she received an Oskar Popularnosti, being awarded Pop Singer Of the Year. In the same year, a new song premiered: “Javna tajna”. She teamed up with Damir Kedžo, and on 12 February 2021 their duet “Hram” came out. The song became a hit in the Croatian national charts. In 2022, the song “Umem” was released. The song was followed by several other songs, including videos. They were all songs from a new album, “Blizu”. The album itself was released on 14 February 2023. Bojana has been involved in singing since the age of seven. She completed three departments at the Music High School – guitar, lute, and Renaissance singing. She participated in the third season of the talent show program Ja imam talenat! which aired on RTS from November 2011 to March 2012, where she finished in 4th place in the finals. She has been a participant in festivals and events such as Belgrade Beer Fest, Runjiceve Veceri in Split, Foam Fest in Belgrade, Cantat Talents in Novi Sad, Open Heart Street in Belgrade… Since 2011, she has been a guest performer in children’s performances at the Belgrade Theater Bosko Buha. She was chosen as the Serbian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. At the national selection of Serbia on February 15, 2015, she performed the song “Ceo Svet Je Moj” composed by Vladimir Graic and written by Leontina Vukomanovic. After winning in the finals against Danica Krstic and Aleksa Jelic, she represented Serbia in the competition held in Vienna from May 19 to 23. Bojana finished in 10th place with 53 points. On June 13, Bojana held her first solo concert at the Sava Center in Belgrade, and after that, she began working on her first album, which will be entirely in English. In 2016, Bojana took part in Dečje beogradsko proleće for the first time, with the song “Nezgoda”. A year later she took part again, this time with the song “Ako voliš snažno”. In 2018 she sang “Ljubav je štetna”, while in 2019 she brought the song “Plan za letovanje”. In 2021 she performed “Ako voliš snažno / Plan za letovanje”. Currently, Bojana Stamenov performs with the Bojana Stamenov Band. In 2022 she won the award for best interpretation at Dečje beogradsko with the song “Kada kažeš ljubav”. When he was 12 or 13, he wrote music based on a text by Dusko Radović performed by Dragan Laković. When he was 16, he sent his composition “Pesnik mira”, to Jugovizija, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. The song was sung by Lola Novaković. As a young man, he performed in the group Vragolani, and then in the group San. In the seventies of the 20th century, he composed music for the anthem of the Yugoslav national soccer team. Ilić graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade in 1975. In 1976, he participated in Jugovizija again, the song “Bye, bye, bye” was performed by Bisera Veletanlić. Ilić’ song “Halo, halo” performed by the group Aska, represented Yugoslavia at the 1982 Eurovision Song Contest. His song “Princeza”, performed by Sladjana Milosević and Dado Topić, was a candidate in Jugovizija 1984. Aleksandar Ilić died on 7 March, 2021, of COVID19. On June 29, 2021, he was posthumously awarded the Gold Medal of Merit. The idea for creating the group Sanja Ilić & BALKANIKA certainly came from Sanja Ilić. He wanted to start thinking about some completely new music at a time when he thought that the musical milieu from the end of the nineties no longer suited him. He searched and inquired about young and talented musicians who play strange and already forgotten instruments and he found them. Kaval, džumbuš, tapan, darbuke, saz, ut, gadulka appear in the music of Balkanika. The first album was mostly made by Sanja in the home studio with the whistles of bombs in 1999. Sanja named it “Balkan 2000”. The album soon became the best-selling album of the country. Before the end of 1999, a decision was made by Serbian broadcaster RTS to do the first big television show after the bombing, with complete material from the album Balkan 2000. All the performers from the album participated in the show. Officially, the first concert of Balknika was held on June 26, 2000 at the Lent Festival in Maribor, Slovenia. That concert was probably a turning point in Sanja’s decision for the group to embark on a concert career. In 2001, Balkanika performed in Shanghai for the Shanghai International Art Festival. The concerts were preceded by promotions on Shanghai’s main television. In 2002, they went on a tour throughout Mexico. When coming back to Serbia, all the materials were arranged to a show called “Balkanika in …”. In 2005, Balkanika performed in Pakistan and in 2008 in Egypt with the mixed choir of the Cairo Opera. Balkanika gave more than 500 concerts on all continents. The style of Balkanika has not changed since 2000. The Balkans have always been the inspiration, but the approach to each new song has been enriched with new, modern sounds offered by new technologies. In 2006, a second album called “Balkan Concept” was released. The third album, “Ceeepaj” came in 20009. With the arrival of the famous musician Boris Krstajić in 2014, he made a sudden turn at the head of the BALKANIKA production team. A complete album in English called “Stand Up” was made. The orchestra is joined by a young but strong and very talented rhythm section and the excellent singer Mladen Lukić, who proved his qualities in X Factor. Three excellent female vocalists remained in the group, Nevena Paripović, Danica Krstić andMarija Paripović, who with their strong and solid ethno voices give a new dimension to the pop rock concept of the “new” Balkanika. After the songs for the album “Stand Up” were finished, the translations into Serbian started. One of the first translations was made for the song “Don’t cry”, which in Serbian translation is called “Za kraj”. In 2018, Balkanika won Beovizija and went to Lisbon for the Eurovision Song Contest as the Serbian representatives. In the grand final, they reached the 19th place. Also in 2018, the group received the first audience award and the first prize of the expert jury at the Ohrid Troubadours International Music Festival 2018. At the first international festival MAC Music Awards Ceremony held in January 2019 in the Belgrade Arena, the group received, probably the most prestigious music award in the region as the best ethno group, again with the song “Nova deca”. She studied music at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She participated in the Junior Eurovision with “Piši mi”, in 2007. After a small break from music, she made her come back in 2009. In 2013 she participated in the talent show Prvi Glas Srbija (the Serbian version of The Voice) and became second. She teamed up with the other two top-3 singers of the contest, Mirna Radulović and Sara Jovanović, to form the all girl group Moje 3. They won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Ljubav je svuda” and thus represented Serbia in the international contest. Shortly after Eurovision, Nevena presented a new solo single, “Pogleda me”, followed by “Znam da nočas gubim te”. In 2014, Nevena participated in the contest Proleče u Beogradu. On May 7, 2015, Nevena promoted a spot for a single called “Trebam teme”.The song was autobiographical, as Nevena stated. “That’s it, this is me”. On May 26, 2015, Nevena opened for the concert of the French singer Indila, which was held at the Stark Arena in Belgrade. She opened the so-called New Divas Festival. Nevena continued her collaboration with Aleksandra Milutinovic, who did the lyrics for the song “Bal” and thus, on December 24, 2015, releases a song called “Čujem da dolaziš u grad”. In 2017, she competed in the famous Slavianski Bazaar festival in Vitepsk, Belarus. Nevena finished in third place. In the same year, Nevena, unveiled her new single, “Jasno mi je” The song became a big hit in Serbia and the rest of the region. She also published an English version called “Dangerous Drug”, which also received positive reviews. Several other successful singles followed. In 2019, Nevena got the opportunity to represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest for a second time, now solo with the song “Kruna”. She reached the final there and ended up in 18th place. In the same year, she was voted best female singer in Serbia by Nahi Radio. In october, she released the song “Sanjam”, which was written and composed by Nevena herself, just like “Kruna”. Also in 2019, she opened for famous Balkan star Zdravko Čolić. In 2020, Nevena released a new song, “Nestajem s vetrom”. The follow up, “Jutro na Prvo”, won an award in the category Best Collaboration. In 2021, she released the songs “Ljubi” and “Ne čuješ me”. After that, she took time for her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter Anika.
