She was born in the capital Chișinău. When she was 10 years old, she already performed in a show called Zolotoy Klyutchik. After finishing highschool, Natalia joined the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, in the Pop and Jazz Vocal section. She was the lead singer of the band Millennium. The band took part in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and took part in the Golden Deer International Contest in Romania. In 2006, she was chosen to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest together with Arsenium and Connect-R. A year later, she won the New Wave Song Contest in Belarus.  Natalia’s debut album “Time” was released in 2010, followed by a second album, “Cununa de flori” in 2011. In 2015, she released a new single called “Summertime”. Natalia Gordienko was chosen to represent Moldova again in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Prison”. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen due to the cancellation of the contest. She was, however, invited to represent Moldova in the 2021 contest. The same team from “Prison” also wrote “Sugar” for her, the entry she sang in 2021. Natalia reached the final with her song. The follow up of the song, “High heels”, reached the charts in Spain. Nelly’s big break came in 1993 when she won the Grand Prix at the “Tineretul Speranțelor” festival in Chișinău. This victory opened numerous doors for her, leading to national and international recognition. She further cemented her status by winning several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix at the “Slavianski Bazaar” in Belarus in 1996. In 2013, Nelly released new singles, “Tu iubire” and “Ola Hello!”. She teamed up with Stefano Nutti to record the duet “Rimani qui!!” in February 2014. In 2017, Nelly Ciobanu was a member of the expert jury for the Eurovision Song Contest. On Christmas eve of the same year, Nelly performed in Paris along with Ionel Istrati. In February 2018 Toronto followed, where she sang with Valentin Uzun. A month later, Nelly sang in Italy. In October, she released a new single, “Dă-mi înapoi”. Nelly ended the year by performing in Israel. In 2019, Nelly was awarded the Gavrill Muzicescu Award from the Moldovan ministry of Culture. She then furthered her studies at the Moldova State Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts where she earned a master’s degree in vocal performance and a postgraduate degree in music pedagogy and art management. Throughout her career, Scarlat has actively participated in numerous music competitions. She first tried to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 and 2011, but she was unsuccessful. However, in 2014, she won O Melodie Pentru Europa, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with her song “Wild Soul.” This victory gave her the opportunity to represent Moldova at Eurovision in Copenhagen, Denmark. Unfortunately, her performance didn’t qualify for the finals, finishing in 16th place in the first semi-final. The follow up for the Eurovision Song came in September of the same year: “Suspans”. In December she teamed up with Aurel Chirtoaca to record the song “Dragostea vine de sus”. In December 2015, a new song was released, “Pași prin frunze”. In April 2016 she performed at the event Balul de primăvară – Aquarelle in Chișinău. The show “Ego”, which she did in 2019, was a show were she was accompanied by the Philharmonic Proactive Orchestra, with artistic director and principal conductor Mihail Agafița, directed by Daniela Burlaca. She also performed at Balul de primăvară – Aquarelle again. Cristina Scarlat teamed up with Eugen Doga for another performance. In December 2021, Cristina was part of the Festivalul de Romanțe, where she performed with the Foklore Orchestra directed by Petrea Neamțu. A year later she colaborated with the Intact-Art studios to do a fundraising for a girl who needed a surgical intervention on her ears in the USA. Also in December 2022, she performed at the Noroc Fest. In 2007, he became a member of the Pop Song Theatre, which belongs to the Elat Cultural Center. Also in 2007, he won First Place at the Duetul Anului and Argintul Iantrei, both in Bulgaria. In 2009, as a vocalist of the SunStroke Project, he participated in the national preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “No Crime”. The song became 3rd. Pavel won the Grand Prize at the International Festival George Grigoriu. He also took first place at the International Music Festival Slaveanski Bazar in Vitebsk, Belarus,  in the summer of 2009. In September of the same year, Pasha Parfeny participated in the international festival Cerbul de Aur in Brașov. He won the Mamaia Festival. He performed Andrei Tudor’s song “Tu nu vezi cerul”. In late fall 2010, Pavel Parfeni’s contract expired and he left the SunStroke Project. In 2010, Pavel Parfeny wanted to participate in the Eurovision preselection in Romania. But, because he does not have Romanian citizenship, he couldn’t. But he participated with the song “You Should Like” at the national preselection in Moldova. He placed in the 2nd, On March 11, 2012, Pasha Parfeni won the national selection for Eurovision 2012 with the song “Lăutar” and represented the Republic of Moldova in Baku. For the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Parfeny co-composed the song “A Million” for Aliona Moon. The song won and represented Moldova in the contest, with Parfeny accompanying Moon on stage at the piano. It became 11th in the final. In 2015, he composed the song “Maricica” for DoReDoS, which placed 6th  in the Moldovan national selection. In 2020, Pasha competed in the Moldovan national selection again with the song, “My Wine” composed in collaboration with Vica Demici. This time he finished second. In 2023, he represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest again. With the song “Soarele şi luna” he reached the final. He got an 18th place in the overall ranking. In September of the same year, he lead the camp Moldova Are Voce. In the same month he performed in Montreal. On the 1st of October he was able to perform in the Bizz’ Art club in Paris. She was born on March 27, 1993, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where her Moldovan parents met while studying. They moved back to Moldova when she was a few months old. Lidia graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at Moldova State University in 2015. Lidia Isac started her musical career as part of the duo Glam Girls, formed with Sasha Druc. They participated in the Moldovan national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and 2014 but didn’t make it to the final. In 2014, Lidia also took part in New Wave, a contest held in Jūrmala, Latvia. In 2015, Lidia entered the selection as a solo act and with Glam Girls, reaching the final but placing last. In 2016, she won the national selection with the song “Falling Stars” and represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, finishing in seventeenth place in the first semi-final. In 2017, Lidia Isac appeared as a contestant in the sixth season of The Voice: la plus belle voix, the French version of The Voice. She advanced from the Blind Auditions but was eliminated in the Battle rounds. That same year, she also participated in the seventh season of the Romanian version Vocea României, where she joined Tudor Chirilă’s team but was eliminated in the Live Shows. On December 17 2018, her song “Aproape” was released. A year later, on 27 November 2019, it was followed by a new song: “Nomada”. After this, she teamded up with OZ Drive, which resulted in the song “Zabudem do zavtra”. In April 2021 Lidija started her own vocal studio in Chişinau. The band was founded in 1994 by a group of friends from the city of Straseni, Moldova. When the band was formed in 1994, they still performed in various formations. Their initial sound was more like hardcore punk, the lyrics of their songs were mostly in Russian. The group made their debut at an event called “10 Years After Chernobyl” in Chisinau. In November 1994 they recorded their first demo tape and played at a festival in Moscow, where they performed for the first time under the name “Zdob și Zdub”. In July 1996 they opened for Rage Against the Machine at the same festival with songs in Russian and Romanian. The song “Hardcore Moldovenesc” became a hit. In the same year Zdob și Zdub signed a contract with the Russian record company FeeLee and released their debut album “Hardcore Moldovenesc”. Around 1998 their sound began to change, the songs were provided with elements of local folklore, the lyrics were mainly in Romanian. In May 1999 their second album was released with the title “Tabăra Noastră” In august of the same year, Zdob și Zdub played at the Russian MTV party held on Red Square in Moscow, along with Russian bands such as Gorky Park and I.F.K and the American Red Hot Chili Peppers. In October 2000, the group recorded a cover version of the song “Videli still” by the Russian band Kino. With this song they took part in the tribute album “Kinoproby” for the late poet, actor and frontman of the band Kino, Viktor Tsoi. The cover became a hit across the Commonwealth of Independent States and topped the charts in many CIS countries throughout the year. About half a million of the tribute albums have been sold. The band was awarded the best live band of the year 2000 in Russia by the St. Petersburg music magazine Fuzz. The band has toured extensively and continues to do so, mainly in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, but also in Germany (1998), the Netherlands (2000) and more recently Serbia, Hungary and Italy. In 2001, the album “Agroromantica”, which roughly means “country romance”, was presented.  The following year, the group won the equivalent MTV Romania Video Music Award. In 2003, her song “Everybody in the Casa Mare” was played in the opening and closing credits of the short film Călătorie la oraș (A Trip to the City). In November of the same year, a new album  was released. The album reached number 12 in the World Music Charts Europe. In October 2004, the group was working on a new album in their studio, which would be dedicated to the band’s 10th anniversary. The album included the 10 best songs of the last 10 years, according to Zdob și Zdub, and 5 new tracks. In 2005, Zdob și Zdub was chosen to be the very first representatives of Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest. The band reached a 7th place. In 2007, the band appeared in the BBC travel documentary series Michael Palin’s New Europe. Also in 2007, a mashup music video called “Black Eyed Peace ft Zdob şi Zdub – Don’t Mess with Inima Mea” surfaced on the internet, featuring a mix of the Black Eyed Peas’ song “Don’t Phunk with My Heart”.  In 2009, the group released the song “Na rechke, na rechke”, for the project “Solj” on Russian Radio. In December 2009, Zdob și Zdub recorded the track “Telega” for the tribute album “Maschinopisj”, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Russian band Maschina Vremeni. In February 2011, the band was again chosen to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest, this time  with the song “So Lucky”. They reached a 10th place. In 2012 the album Basta Mafia!, partly produced in Germany, was released, followed by a tour. For the 20th anniversary in 2015 an album with songs accompanied by an orchestra was released. In 2018 they released the single “Balkana Mama” together with singer Loredana Groza and in 2019 the new album Bestiarium. In 2022 the band again represented Moldova in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, this time with the duo Frații Advahov and the song “Trenulețul”. Moon first stepped into the limelight in 2010 when she competed in the Moldovan edition of the Fame Academy, known as Fabrica de Staruri 2. Her notable performance earned her a third-place finish. In 2012, she broadened her experience by providing backing vocals for Pasha Parfeny at the Eurovision Song Contest. In the following year, Aliona’s career took a significant leap forward. She performed her pop single, “A Million,” in the pre-selection round for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Moldova. Out of 24 competitors, Moon stood out and was chosen to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Malmö. Subsequently, she decided, in coordination with Moldovan broadcaster TRM, to perform the Romanian version of her song, “O mie” (“One thousand”), at the contest. This decision paid off, as she succeeded in reaching the final and secured an impressive eleventh place. In 2014, Aliona expanded her repertoire by participating in Vocea României, Romania’s version of the popular show The Voice. DoReDos exists of Marina Djundyet (15 october 1986), Eugeniu Andrianov (2 april 1993) and Sergiu Mîța (3 may 1993). They all graduated from the Acadamy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chișinău. They met in 2011 and decided to form a band, in those days called The Art Band. Later they changed their name into DoReDos. In 2014, DoReDoS won the George Grigoriu Pop Music Contest in Romania. After the departure of Pasha Parfeni from the band, he was replaced by Serghei Ialovițchii from Chisinau, with whom SunStroke Project won the national preselection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, together with Olia Tira. The group reached the final and became 22nd there. With the virtuoso performance of the band’s saxophonist (Sergei Stepanov) at Eurovision, he became an internet phenomenon called “Epic Sax Guy”. Remixed clips of his performance have garnered millions of views on YouTube. Several versions of “10 Hours of Epic Sax Guy” have also been created, with the first two most popular of them accumulating 16 million and 10 million views respectively. In 2012, Olia Tira and Sunstroke Project submitted a song to the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. However, the song, “Superman” was not selected. In 2013, the band performed a song in Romanian for the first time, “Ce Bine Imi Pare”. For this song, they teamed up with the Alex Calancea Band.  In the same year, the song “Walking in the rain” took the 1st place on the Radio Record chart and became the anthem of the Parapaparam KVN team of MGIMO Moscow. In the same year, a video was shot for the song “Amor”, which was released in English and Spanish. In 2015, Sunstroke Project took part in the national finalof the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Day After Day”, but took 3rd place in the final. In August of the same year, the Sunstroke project opened their music label Ragoza Music and released a new song “Not Giving It Up”. In February 2017, they won the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Hey, Mamma!”. In the final of the competition, they took 3rd place, which was the best result of Moldova at that time. In 2009, as a vocalist of the SunStroke Project, he participated in the national preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “No Crime”. The song became 3rd. Pavel won the Grand Prize at the International Festival George Grigoriu. He also took first place at the International Music Festival Slaveanski Bazar in Vitebsk, Belarus,  in the summer of 2009. In September of the same year, Pasha Parfeny participated in the international festival Cerbul de Aur in Brașov. He won the Mamaia Festival. He performed Andrei Tudor’s song “Tu nu vezi cerul”. In late fall 2010, Pavel Parfeni’s contract expired and he left the SunStroke Project. The band was founded in 1994 by a group of friends from the city of Straseni, Moldova. When the band was formed in 1994, they still performed in various formations. Their initial sound was more like hardcore punk, the lyrics of their songs were mostly in Russian. The group made their debut at an event called “10 Years After Chernobyl” in Chisinau. In November 1994 they recorded their first demo tape and played at a festival in Moscow, where they performed for the first time under the name “Zdob și Zdub”. In July 1996 they opened for Rage Against the Machine at the same festival with songs in Russian and Romanian. The song “Hardcore Moldovenesc” became a hit. In the same year Zdob și Zdub signed a contract with the Russian record company FeeLee and released their debut album “Hardcore Moldovenesc”. Around 1998 their sound began to change, the songs were provided with elements of local folklore, the lyrics were mainly in Romanian. In May 1999 their second album was released with the title “Tabăra Noastră” In august of the same year, Zdob și Zdub played at the Russian MTV party held on Red Square in Moscow, along with Russian bands such as Gorky Park and I.F.K and the American Red Hot Chili Peppers. In October 2000, the group recorded a cover version of the song “Videli still” by the Russian band Kino. With this song they took part in the tribute album “Kinoproby” for the late poet, actor and frontman of the band Kino, Viktor Tsoi. The cover became a hit across the Commonwealth of Independent States and topped the charts in many CIS countries throughout the year. About half a million of the tribute albums have been sold. The band was awarded the best live band of the year 2000 in Russia by the St. Petersburg music magazine Fuzz. The band has toured extensively and continues to do so, mainly in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, but also in Germany (1998), the Netherlands (2000) and more recently Serbia, Hungary and Italy. In 2001, the album “Agroromantica”, which roughly means “country romance”, was presented.  The following year, the group won the equivalent MTV Romania Video Music Award. In 2003, her song “Everybody in the Casa Mare” was played in the opening and closing credits of the short film Călătorie la oraș (A Trip to the City). In November of the same year, a new album  was released. The album reached number 12 in the World Music Charts Europe. In October 2004, the group was working on a new album in their studio, which would be dedicated to the band’s 10th anniversary. The album included the 10 best songs of the last 10 years, according to Zdob și Zdub, and 5 new tracks. In 2005, Zdob și Zdub was chosen to be the very first representatives of Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest. The band reached a 7th place. In 2007, the band appeared in the BBC travel documentary series Michael Palin’s New Europe. Also in 2007, a mashup music video called “Black Eyed Peace ft Zdob şi Zdub – Don’t Mess with Inima Mea” surfaced on the internet, featuring a mix of the Black Eyed Peas’ song “Don’t Phunk with My Heart”.  In 2009, the group released the song “Na rechke, na rechke”, for the project “Solj” on Russian Radio. In December 2009, Zdob și Zdub recorded the track “Telega” for the tribute album “Maschinopisj”, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Russian band Maschina Vremeni. In February 2011, the band was again chosen to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest, this time  with the song “So Lucky”. They reached a 10th place. In 2012 the album Basta Mafia!, partly produced in Germany, was released, followed by a tour. For the 20th anniversary in 2015 an album with songs accompanied by an orchestra was released. In 2018 they released the single “Balkana Mama” together with singer Loredana Groza and in 2019 the new album Bestiarium. In 2022 the band again represented Moldova in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, this time with the duo Frații Advahov and the song “Trenulețul”. Initially it consisted of violinist Anton Ragoza and saxophonist Serghei Stepanov. Anton Ragoza entered the music school at the age of 14. He finished highschool but did not get any higher education, because Anton soon left college and joined the army, where he played in the orchestra. In the army he met the saxophonist Sergei Stepanov. After getting to know each other, the idea of ​​creating a musical band appeared, and its name came about as a result of a funny situation. One summer when the soldiers were doing some work in the fields, the young blond Anton Ragoza got heatstroke, from which he got the name “SunStroke”. After the military service, the band SunStroke Project, together with soloist Pasha Parfeni, played in clubs, especially in Tiraspol and Odesa. Once in Odessa they met MC Mîslic who suggested them to come to Chisinau and try their hand at the Moldovan market. The band easily conquered the Moldovan public, already in 2009 taking the 3rd place in the national preselection for Eurovision with the song “No Crime”. After the departure of Pasha Parfeni from the band, he was replaced by Serghei Ialovițchii from Chisinau, with whom SunStroke Project won the national preselection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, together with Olia Tira. The group reached the final and became 22nd there. With the virtuoso performance of the band’s saxophonist (Sergei Stepanov) at Eurovision, he became an internet phenomenon called “Epic Sax Guy”. Remixed clips of his performance have garnered millions of views on YouTube. Several versions of “10 Hours of Epic Sax Guy” have also been created, with the first two most popular of them accumulating 16 million and 10 million views respectively. In 2012, Olia Tira and Sunstroke Project submitted a song to the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. However, the song, “Superman” was not selected. In 2013, the band performed a song in Romanian for the first time, “Ce Bine Imi Pare”. For this song, they teamed up with the Alex Calancea Band.  In the same year, the song “Walking in the rain” took the 1st place on the Radio Record chart and became the anthem of the Parapaparam KVN team of MGIMO Moscow. In the same year, a video was shot for the song “Amor”, which was released in English and Spanish. In 2015, Sunstroke Project took part in the national finalof the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Day After Day”, but took 3rd place in the final. In August of the same year, the Sunstroke project opened their music label Ragoza Music and released a new song “Not Giving It Up”. In February 2017, they won the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Hey, Mamma!”. In the final of the competition, they took 3rd place, which was the best result of Moldova at that time. Upon the return of the team to Moldova, the President of the country presented the highest state awards of Moldova to the members of the group – the Order of Honor, and their producer Dmitry Sergeev – the medal “Civil Merit”.  In 2018, the band teamed up with the Swiss group Timebelle to record the song “Tocame”. In February 2019, the founder and violinist Anton Ragoza left the band. Their first recording as a duo was the song “Boomerang”, followed by “Mango”.  Although the band released new music, due to COVID19 the new video, containing the song “Pepperoni”, was only released in November 2020. In 2017, Nelly Ciobanu was a member of the expert jury for the Eurovision Song Contest. On Christmas eve of the same year, Nelly performed in Paris along with Ionel Istrati. In February 2018 Toronto followed, where she sang with Valentin Uzun. A month later, Nelly sang in Italy. In October, she released a new single, “Dă-mi înapoi”. Nelly ended the year by performing in Israel. In 2019, Nelly was awarded the Gavrill Muzicescu Award from the Moldovan ministry of Culture. In January 2020, she performed with Ionel Istrati again, this time in Russia. She became an Interpol ambassador as a member of the “Turn back crime” campaign. She also released the song “Da-mi Inapoi” in the same year. It was in March 2023 when Nelly performed for the Moldovan diaspora in Zürich, Switzerland. A month later she was a member of the Caucaz- 2023 international festival of Arts jury. In March 2024 she performed in Nice, France, in collaboration with Valentin Uzun. In May of the same year she released a new song, “Treci dragoste pe la mine”. The band was founded in 1994 by a group of friends from the city of Straseni, Moldova. When the band was formed in 1994, they still performed in various formations. Their initial sound was more like hardcore punk, the lyrics of their songs were mostly in Russian. The group made their debut at an event called “10 Years After Chernobyl” in Chisinau. In November 1994 they recorded their first demo tape and played at a festival in Moscow, where they performed for the first time under the name “Zdob și Zdub”. In July 1996 they opened for Rage Against the Machine at the same festival with songs in Russian and Romanian. The song “Hardcore Moldovenesc” became a hit. In the same year Zdob și Zdub signed a contract with the Russian record company FeeLee and released their debut album “Hardcore Moldovenesc”. Around 1998 their sound began to change, the songs were provided with elements of local folklore, the lyrics were mainly in Romanian. In May 1999 their second album was released with the title “Tabăra Noastră” In august of the same year, Zdob și Zdub played at the Russian MTV party held on Red Square in Moscow, along with Russian bands such as Gorky Park and I.F.K and the American Red Hot Chili Peppers. In October 2000, the group recorded a cover version of the song “Videli still” by the Russian band Kino. With this song they took part in the tribute album “Kinoproby” for the late poet, actor and frontman of the band Kino, Viktor Tsoi. The cover became a hit across the Commonwealth of Independent States and topped the charts in many CIS countries throughout the year. About half a million of the tribute albums have been sold. The band was awarded the best live band of the year 2000 in Russia by the St. Petersburg music magazine Fuzz. The band has toured extensively and continues to do so, mainly in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, but also in Germany (1998), the Netherlands (2000) and more recently Serbia, Hungary and Italy. In 2001, the album “Agroromantica”, which roughly means “country romance”, was presented.  The following year, the group won the equivalent MTV Romania Video Music Award. In 2003, her song “Everybody in the Casa Mare” was played in the opening and closing credits of the short film Călătorie la oraș (A Trip to the City). In November of the same year, a new album  was released. The album reached number 12 in the World Music Charts Europe. In October 2004, the group was working on a new album in their studio, which would be dedicated to the band’s 10th anniversary. The album included the 10 best songs of the last 10 years, according to Zdob și Zdub, and 5 new tracks. In 2005, Zdob și Zdub was chosen to be the very first representatives of Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest. The band reached a 7th place. In 2007, the band appeared in the BBC travel documentary series Michael Palin’s New Europe. Also in 2007, a mashup music video called “Black Eyed Peace ft Zdob şi Zdub – Don’t Mess with Inima Mea” surfaced on the internet, featuring a mix of the Black Eyed Peas’ song “Don’t Phunk with My Heart”.  In 2009, the group released the song “Na rechke, na rechke”, for the project “Solj” on Russian Radio. In December 2009, Zdob și Zdub recorded the track “Telega” for the tribute album “Maschinopisj”, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Russian band Maschina Vremeni. In February 2011, the band was again chosen to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest, this time  with the song “So Lucky”. They reached a 10th place. In October 2016, Eduard performed at the 50th anniversary of the Ternopil National Economic University, where he did his own studies too. On 2 February 2017, his new single “Bad thing” was released. He performed in the show Muzichna Vesna along with participant Anna Nikonovaa. On 1 May he released a new single, “Million”. Parallel to his artistic endeavors, Eduard pursued higher education and excelled, earning two Master’s degrees with honors. He received a Ph.D. at TNEU in 2018. After he did this, he went back to making music. In September 2018 his song “Golddigger” was released. Initially it consisted of violinist Anton Ragoza and saxophonist Serghei Stepanov. Anton Ragoza entered the music school at the age of 14. He finished highschool but did not get any higher education, because Anton soon left college and joined the army, where he played in the orchestra. In the army he met the saxophonist Sergei Stepanov. After getting to know each other, the idea of ​​creating a musical band appeared, and its name came about as a result of a funny situation. One summer when the soldiers were doing some work in the fields, the young blond Anton Ragoza got heatstroke, from which he got the name “SunStroke”. After the military service, the band SunStroke Project, together with soloist Pasha Parfeni, played in clubs, especially in Tiraspol and Odesa. Once in Odessa they met MC Mîslic who suggested them to come to Chisinau and try their hand at the Moldovan market. The band easily conquered the Moldovan public, already in 2009 taking the 3rd place in the national preselection for Eurovision with the song “No Crime”. After the departure of Pasha Parfeni from the band, he was replaced by Serghei Ialovițchii from Chisinau, with whom SunStroke Project won the national preselection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, together with Olia Tira. The group reached the final and became 22nd there. With the virtuoso performance of the band’s saxophonist (Sergei Stepanov) at Eurovision, he became an internet phenomenon called “Epic Sax Guy”. Remixed clips of his performance have garnered millions of views on YouTube. Several versions of “10 Hours of Epic Sax Guy” have also been created, with the first two most popular of them accumulating 16 million and 10 million views respectively. In 2012, Olia Tira and Sunstroke Project submitted a song to the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. However, the song, “Superman” was not selected. In 2013, the band performed a song in Romanian for the first time, “Ce Bine Imi Pare”. For this song, they teamed up with the Alex Calancea Band.  In the same year, the song “Walking in the rain” took the 1st place on the Radio Record chart and became the anthem of the Parapaparam KVN team of MGIMO Moscow. In the same year, a video was shot for the song “Amor”, which was released in English and Spanish. In 2015, Sunstroke Project took part in the national finalof the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Day After Day”, but took 3rd place in the final. In August of the same year, the Sunstroke project opened their music label Ragoza Music and released a new song “Not Giving It Up”. In February 2017, they won the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Hey, Mamma!”. In the final of the competition, they took 3rd place, which was the best result of Moldova at that time. Upon the return of the team to Moldova, the President of the country presented the highest state awards of Moldova to the members of the group – the Order of Honor, and their producer Dmitry Sergeev – the medal “Civil Merit”.  In 2018, the band teamed up with the Swiss group Timebelle to record the song “Tocame”. In February 2019, the founder and violinist Anton Ragoza left the band. Their first recording as a duo was the song “Boomerang”, followed by “Mango”.  Although the band released new music, due to COVID19 the new video, containing the song “Pepperoni”, was only released in November 2020. In April 2021, a song in Russian came out, “Beloye”, followed in December by “Netflix & chill”. In 2022, Sunstroke Project had an international tour called the Epic Sunstroke Project Euro Tour. They went to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Turin and Warsaw, mostly for Eurovision related performances.
