Biographical Overview Born on May 1, 1992, in Bor, within the former SFR Yugoslavia, Teodora Pavlovska balanced her academic pursuits in Belgrade with music education, specializing in piano at the “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” Music School. Her musical journey continued at Berklee College of Music in Boston, focusing on vocal studies, where she shared a classroom with Charlie Puth. Her experience expanded as she provided backing vocals for renowned American artists including Grammy winners Patti Austin, Siedah Garrett, Jerry Allen, and Valerie Simpson. Post-graduation, Pavlovska spent time in New York, where she engaged in English songwriting for ARKTKT Publishing. Her introduction to the Serbian music industry came in 2018 with the song “Nema limita” for Nikolija, leading to further songwriting contributions for Serbian talents such as “Dođi mami” (2019) for Nataša Bekvalac, “Jasno mi je” for Zoi, and “Pazi se” (2020) for Jovana Nikolić. Her own vocal career took off with the release of “Da na meni je” in July 2019 under Basivity label, followed by “Oluje” in March 2020 for the TV series “South Wind.” March 2023 saw the release of “Džanum” for the sequel series “South Wind: On the Edge,” which quickly went viral on TikTok, securing the fourth spot on Spotify’s global chart of viral songs by May 22. By June, Teya Dora joined the ranks as the third Serbian artist to garner over a million monthly listeners on Spotify, following the footsteps of Konstrakta and Luke Black who had similarly surged in popularity after their Eurovision appearances. The track also made its mark on Billboard’s music chart in Croatia, landing in the sixth position by the end of April. In addition to her solo projects, Teya Dora has contributed as a songwriter to the works of other prominent artists, including Nikolija, Nataša Bekvalac, Jovana Nikolić, Anastasija, and Zoi. On March 2nd, 2024, Teya Dora was chosen to represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Ramonda”. The song reached the Grand Final of the contest and gained a 17th place there. Festival da Canção 2024 – Semi final 2 results

In Portugal, 6 more finalists were chosen in the semi final 2. 10 Participants competed for a ticket for the big final. 50% televoting and 50% jury votes determined the top five acts of the night: Buba Espinho – “O Farol” Cristina Clara – “Primavera” Leo Middea – “Doce Mistério” No Maka feat. 🇮🇸 Iceland selects their entry

Tonight is the night when Iceland selects a song. Söngvakeppnin, their national final, will contain 5 songs. Out of these 5, jury and televoter will select two to head to a superfinal. Hera Björk represented Iceland in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Je ne sais quoi”. She took part in 2007 (semifinals), was the runner up in the 2009 Danish Melodi Grand Prix and 3rd in Söngvakeppnin 2019. The connection from Palestinian Bashar Murad with Iceland is the fact that, in 2019, he collaborated with Hatari in the song “Klefi/Samed”. This is, however, his first attempt in Eurovision. Bashar is the hot favourite to win tonight.

Tonight, Portugal will continue Festival RTP da Canção, the annual national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Out of ten songs, 6 will be chosen for the final on the 9th of March. Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection, continues with a 5th and last heat. As Sweden is the host country, the winning song will go directly to the final. Two songs will go directly to the final, two other songs will go for ‘final qualification’, something that will be decided after the 5th heat. 🇦🇹 Kaleen’s “We will rave” published

Today, also the Austrian entry “We will rave” has been published. Kaleen will represent the country. Where countries like Switzerland, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Cyprus published their entry with much publicity, it went completely different in Austria. The song was leaked, and this morning it was published on Spotify. Meanwhile, there is also an audio version published on Kaleen’s Youtube channel. The song “We will rave” is written and composed by Jimmy Thörnfeld, Anderz Wrethov, Julie Aagaard and Thomas Stengaard.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom: This is Olly’s “Dizzy”

After a lot of teasers, the moment was finally there: Olly Alexander presented his Eurovision entry “Dizzy”. Olly will represent the United Kingdom in the contest and thus will be placed directly into the final. “Dizzy” was written and composed by Olly himself together with Daniel Harle. And this is the song:

In 2015, Nemo appeared on the show “Die grössten Schweizer Talente” as a rapper. That same year, they released their first EP titled “Clownfisch,” which reached 95th in the Swiss music charts.
