Iceland wins “Der kleine Song Contest”

In Austria, they had their own song contest this year. Divided over three shows, an expert jury chose three songs to be judged by Austrian televoters. And the winner is…. Iceland! Daði  & Gagnamagnið got 48% of the votes with their song “Think about things”, while Austria was the runner up with 33%. Malta became 3rd with 19% of the votes. Damir Kedžo: the current conditions are daunting

Croatian contestant Damir Kedžo also reacts on the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest. He states the following on his facebook page:  Performing on Eurovision is a dream come true and I can’t wait to stand and sing on that big stage one day. Under normal circumstances , Eurovision is a joy of music enjoyed by Europe and much of the world. The show is watched on average by 180 million people who enjoy music and , diversity of music , culture and that is the beauty of Eurovision. The conditions in which the world is currently are neither cheerful nor optimistic, they are daunting and it is a priority to preserve the health of ourselves , our loved ones and all the people around us. That is why I welcome the decision of cancellation and I cannot wait for the end of the pandemic and Eurovision 2021 performance in Rotterdam. Love you all. Take care. It is not known whether Damir will take part in next years contest.

Damir Kedžo is chosen to represent Croatia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Damir was chosen out of sixteen artists and will perform in the first semifinal with the song “Divlji vjetre”. Croatia decides tonight

Tonight, sixteen songs will compete for the Croatian ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest in the competition called DORA. The show will start at 20.05 CET and can be watched here. The contest will be held in Opatija and has four hosts: Duško Ćurlić, Mirko Fodor, Ylata Mück Sušec and Doris Pinčić Rogoznica. The winner will be chosen by regional juries and televoting. The sixteen contestants are: Elis Lovrić, “Jušto” Bojan Jambrošič, “Više od riječi” Edi Abazi, “Coming home” Zdenka Kovačiček, “Love, love, love” Alen Vitasović & Božidarka Matija Čerina, “Da se ne zatere” Đana, “One” Aklea Neon, “Zovi ju mama” Nikola Marjanović, “Let’s forgive” Lorenzo feat. Today: semi final allocation draw

On Tuesday 28 January at 16:10 CET, the Semi-Final Allocation Draw will take place to decide which country will perform in which of the 2 Semi-Finals. During the ceremony, the Host City Insignia will be handed over from the city of Tel Aviv to the Mayor of Rotterdam. You can watch the entire event here at 16:10 CET. You will be able to see the 2020 Eurovision hosts Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit at work, as they will host the allocation draw too. The event will take place at Rotterdam’s City Hall. Iceland wins “Der kleine Song Contest”

In Austria, they had their own song contest this year. Divided over three shows, an expert jury chose three songs to be judged by Austrian televoters. And the winner is…. Iceland! Daði  & Gagnamagnið got 48% of the votes with their song “Think about things”, while Austria was the runner up with 33%. Malta became 3rd with 19% of the votes. Damir Kedžo: the current conditions are daunting

Croatian contestant Damir Kedžo also reacts on the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest. He states the following on his facebook page:  Performing on Eurovision is a dream come true and I can’t wait to stand and sing on that big stage one day. Under normal circumstances , Eurovision is a joy of music enjoyed by Europe and much of the world. The show is watched on average by 180 million people who enjoy music and , diversity of music , culture and that is the beauty of Eurovision. The conditions in which the world is currently are neither cheerful nor optimistic, they are daunting and it is a priority to preserve the health of ourselves , our loved ones and all the people around us. That is why I welcome the decision of cancellation and I cannot wait for the end of the pandemic and Eurovision 2021 performance in Rotterdam. Love you all. Take care. It is not known whether Damir will take part in next years contest.

Croatia decides tonight

Tonight, sixteen songs will compete for the Croatian ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest in the competition called DORA. The show will start at 20.05 CET and can be watched here. The contest will be held in Opatija and has four hosts: Duško Ćurlić, Mirko Fodor, Ylata Mück Sušec and Doris Pinčić Rogoznica. The winner will be chosen by regional juries and televoting. Iceland wins “Der kleine Song Contest”

In Austria, they had their own song contest this year. Divided over three shows, an expert jury chose three songs to be judged by Austrian televoters. And the winner is…. Iceland! Daði  & Gagnamagnið got 48% of the votes with their song “Think about things”, while Austria was the runner up with 33%. Malta became 3rd with 19% of the votes. Tonight, sixteen songs will compete for the Croatian ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest in the competition called DORA. The show will start at 20.05 CET and can be watched here.
