Italy: 2nd show of San Remo

Today, we will be able to see the 2nd show of the annual festival di Sanremo in Italy. Before the start of the contest, all the participants were (secretly) able to express their wish to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest. If the winner does not want to go to Liverpool, RAI selects another contestant. The show will start at 20.40 CET and you can watch it here. Note that we only mentioned the SanRemo participation in the years that RAI selected the Eurovision participant from the festival.

It’s Vesna for Czech Republic!

Czech Republic has chosen. With 70% of an international jury and 30% of Czech audience, the winner is Vesna with the song “My sister’s crown”. The song is written by Kateryna Vatchenko, Patricie Kaňok Fuxová and Tanita Yankova and composed by Patricie Kaňok Fuxová and Tanita Yankova. Czech Republic will perform in the 2nd half of the 1st semifinal. Vesna, “My sister’s crown”, 10.584 pts. Pam Rabbit, “Ghosting”, 4.217 pts. Rodan, “Introvert party club”, 1.995 pts. Czech Republic: we will have a winner!

One week ago, Czech Republic presented 5 songs, one of which will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. Today the winner will be announced. That will happen at 19.00 CET, and you can watch it on YouTube. The five competing songs are: 1 Maella Flood 2 Pam Rabbit Ghosting 3 Markéta Irglová Happy 4 Vesna My sister’s crown 5 Rodan Introvert party club Pam Rabbit took part in the national selection in 2019 (2nd) and 2020 (6th).

In Lithuania, the semifinal results are in. Out of 10 songs, the best five will head to the final within two weeks. Next week, we will see the second semifinal. Slovenian Joker Out! presents “Carpe Diem”

photo: primož lukežič Tonight, the Slovenian band Joker Out! presented their Eurovision entry. The song is called “Carpe diem”, as was already revealed in an earlier stage. The song was presented after a show called Misija Liverpool. Joker Out will perform the song in the 2nd half of the 2nd semifinal.

Lithuania: on to the semifinals

Tonight is the night that we go on to the semifinals in Lithuania. In each semifinal, 10 songs will compete, five of them will have a place in the final. The show starts at 20:00 and you can watch it here and on YouTube. Spain: Benidorm Fest final is there!

After two semifinals, we head to the final of Benidorm Fest. Spain is gonna decide which song will go to Eurovision in Liverpool. Last year, Chanel was very succesful for Spain with a third place. Will the new particpant do the trick again? The show will start at 22.00 and you can watch it here. Norway selects: Melodi Grand Prix final

Tonight is the night Norway select it’s song. After three semifinals, it is time for the Melodi Grand Prix final. Out of 9 songs, the Norwegian Eurovision entrant will be chosen. The show starts at 19.50 and you can watch it here.
