She was born and still lives in Birkirkara, a town in the central region of Malta.Destiny began her career in 2014 when she participated in Kanzunetta Indipendenza, won the Asterisks Music Festival and in the Italian song contest San Remo Junior. Her real breakthrough, however, came when she represented Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 with the song “Not my soul”. She won the contest. Because of this, she was awarded the Midalja għall-Qadi tar-Repubblika (Medal for service to the republic). In 2017, Destiny auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. She made it to the live shows and ended in 6th place in the semifinal.In 2019, Destiny was a backing vocal in the Eurovision Song Contest for Michela Pace. One year later, it was Destiny herself who won the X-Factor Malta, earning the right to represent her country in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen due to the cancellation of the contest. Maltese television decided to ask her again for the Eurovision Contest in 2021. Her duet with Dāvids Kalandija finished 2nd. The same happened in 2013; now solo, she finished 2nd again in Eirodziesma. In 2014, she finished third.A year later, Samanta participated in Lietuvos Balsos, the Lithuanian version of The Voice. She participated in Supernova, the new national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2016. However, after the semifinal Samanta withdrew . A year later, she attempted to represent Lithuania. In 2019 she was back to Supernova. In 2020, she was finally chosen to represent Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Still breathing”. Although th won a contest at radio station Triple J in 2012, she decided to finish school first before starting a career in music. It took another year before she released her debut single “Anyone but me”, which got quite a lot of airplay and entered the charts. It was soon followed by a second single and in the same year, she opened for the Australian band San Cisco. In the beginning of 2015, she received the “Next Big Thing” award of FBI radio. In the same year, she did her first own tour and released her debut album “Glorious heights”.In 2018, she released a new album, “Complex”. In 2020 she took part in Australia Decides and was supposed to represent Australia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Don’t break me”. He was born in Strumica, at the time of his birth part of Yugoslavia. When he was 7 years old, Vasil scored a hit called “Marionka”. With that song, Vasil became a child star. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to the United States, where he sang at the Chicago Childrens Choir. He did a lot of performances in these days, among others in front of president Clinton. When he was 17, the family moved back to North Macedonia. Vasil also lived and studied in Milan. As a pop singer, he participated in the 2007 national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Soon after this, he moved to Toronto where he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory with a full scholarship and remained there for 9 years.After his return in 2018, He released several singles like “Gerdan” and “Patuvam”. He was a backing vocal for Tamara Todevska in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. In 2020, he was chosen to represent North Macedonia in the contest himself. Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of the contest, it didn’t happen. However, North Macedonian television invited him again to do the job in 2021, with the song “Here I stand”. Not everything went smoothly; in the video of the song, the Bulgarian flag or something that looked like that, was visible. Vasil also has the Bulgarian nationality. A petition against Vasil as a representative of North Macedonia was, in the end, rejected. Shortly before the contest, Vasil came out as being gay, which made him the first openly gay North Macedonian participant. In 2022, Vasil released an EP in English, “Porcelain soldier”, an EP he calls a journey of self discovery. In april of the same year, his single and video “Beautiful” came out.
