It was soon followed by a second single and in the same year, she opened for the Australian band San Cisco. In the beginning of 2015, she received the “Next Big Thing” award of FBI radio. In the same year, she did her first own tour and released her debut album “Glorious heights”.In 2018, she released a new album, “Complex”. In 2020 she took part in Australia Decides and was supposed to represent Australia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Don’t break me”. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen due to the cancellation of the contest. Australian tv decided that Montaigne will be their representative in the 2021 contest. For that occasion, she came up with the song “Technicolour”. Unfortunately, she couldn’t travel to Rotterdam for the contest due to COVID19. Her prerecorded performance was shown on screen. After Eurovision, Montaigne released a new single called “Now (in space)”. It was a harbinger of her new studio album. In February 2022 she collaborated with Talking Heads’ David Byrne in the song “Always be you”. This album wasn’t released on a classic CD, but fans could download it via a QR code on a T-shirt with special graphics. In September 2017 Benny Cristo performed in Prague’s Yellow Spa for 4000 people. The recording of several songs from this concert was released in video form via VR glasses. In 2019 Ben gave his biggest concert so far at the O2 arena in Prague. In 2020 he was chosen to represent the Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Kemama”. Soon after this, he moved to Toronto where he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory with a full scholarship and remained there for 9 years.After his return in 2018, He released several singles like “Gerdan” and “Patuvam”. He was a backing vocal for Tamara Todevska in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. In 2020, he was chosen to represent North Macedonia in the contest himself. Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of the contest, it didn’t happen. However, North Macedonian television invited him again to do the job in 2021, with the song “Here I stand”. Not everything went smoothly; in the video of the song, the Bulgarian flag or something that looked like that, was visible. Vasil also has the Bulgarian nationality. A petition against Vasil as a representative of North Macedonia was, in the end, rejected. Shortly before the contest, Vasil came out as being gay, which made him the first openly gay North Macedonian participant.  In 2022, Vasil released an EP in English, “Porcelain soldier”, an EP he calls a journey of self discovery. Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of the contest, it didn’t happen. However, North Macedonian television invited him again to do the job in 2021, with the song “Here I stand”. Not everything went smoothly; in the video of the song, the Bulgarian flag or something that looked like that, was visible. Vasil also has the Bulgarian nationality. A petition against Vasil as a representative of North Macedonia was, in the end, rejected. Shortly before the contest, Vasil came out as being gay, which made him the first openly gay North Macedonian participant.  In 2022, Vasil released an EP in English, “Porcelain soldier”, an EP he calls a journey of self discovery. Unfortunately, due to the cancellation of the contest, it didn’t happen. However, North Macedonian television invited him again to do the job in 2021, with the song “Here I stand”. Not everything went smoothly; in the video of the song, the Bulgarian flag or something that looked like that, was visible. Vasil also has the Bulgarian nationality. A petition against Vasil as a representative of North Macedonia was, in the end, rejected. Shortly before the contest, Vasil came out as being gay, which made him the first openly gay North Macedonian participant.  In 2022, Vasil released an EP in English, “Porcelain soldier”, an EP he calls a journey of self discovery.
