In 1998, he joined the Belarusian State Academy of Music, where he studied academic singing in the vocal-choral department. From August 2003 to June 2004, he was a member of the ensemble Pesnyary. In 2004, Elfimov won the Grand Prix at the International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk-2004,” part of the “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” festival. He graduated with a master’s degree from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2009.
