Tonight is also the night of the Söngvakeppnin 2020 final, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The show will start at 20.45 CET and you can watch it here. Five songs will compete in order to get the ticket to Rotterdam. You might have seen and heard the songs in the semifinals, but artists now have freedom of language. The five contestants are:
- Ísold & Helga, “Meet me halfway”
- Daði & Gagnamagnið, “Think about things”
- Nina, “Echo”
- Iva, “Oculis videre”
- DIMMA, “Almyrkvi”
Daði Freyr was 2nd in 2017. His song went viral over the internet the last two weeks.
