It is known: Ana Soklič will sing “Amen” in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. She won EMA2020, last year’s Slovenian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest that got cancelled. Now she was chosen by RTVSLO to represent Slovenia. The song is written and composed by, a.o. Charlie Mason, who also co-wrote “Rise like a phoenix”. The other composers are Žiga Pirnat and Ana Soklić herself. A funny coincidence: also the Austrian entry is called “Amen”. You can listen to it here:
The Croatian national final DORA starts. The contest consists of two semifinals, and a final to be held on March 2nd. Twelve songs will compete tonight, 8 of which will head to the final. The show starts at 22:20 CET and you can watch it on YouTube.
