Montenegro returns

According to Eurovision website esctoday, Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG confirmed its participation in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. The country returns after one year of pause. In fact two, but due to COVID19 there was no contest at all in 2020.

The first ever entry of Montenegro as an independent country was “‘Ajde, kroči” in 2007, sung by Stevan Faddy. The song did not reach the final.

Best scoring entry was “Adio” by Knez in 2015. The song reached the 13th place in the final. It was one of only two Montenegrin entries so far reaching the final, but who knows we can add a third one in 2022
