LUM!X and Pia Maria represent Austria

This morning, Austrian broadcaster ORF announced their contestants. Austria will send LUM!X and Pia Maria to Turin. LUM!X is an Austrian DJ and producer of international fame. Although Luca Michlmayr, which is his real name, is only 19 years old, he worked together with big names as Robin Schulz, Lucas & Steve and R3HAB. 


In Turin, LUM!X will be joined by a newcomer: singer/songwriter Pia Maria, who is from Tyrol. The song they will present is called “Halo”. The track is not ready for presentation yet. Austrian television did not yet announce when it will be presented.

Austria will perform in the second half of the first semifinal.

The event, set in Basel, Switzerland, will feature Michelle Hunziker, Hazel Brugger, and Sandra Studer. Michelle Hunziker (47): A renowned TV presenter best known for hosting Wetten, dass..? Hazel Brugger (31): A Swiss-German comedian celebrated for her work on Germany’s Heute-Show. She was named Best Female Comedian at the 2020 German Comedy Awards. Sandra Studer (55): A singer and presenter who represented Switzerland in Eurovision 1991, finishing fifth. The trio will host the grand final, with Studer and Brugger also presenting the semifinals.
