Tonight, the festival of San Remo continues. The winner of the contest can be the Italian representant in the Eurovision Song Contest. That means, if he, she or they want it. All the participants had to inform Italian television (RAI) already about their wish to participate…. or not. The show starts at 20.40 CET and you can watch it here.
During the fourth evening, dedicated to covers, the 25 artists will perform a song of their choice, both Italian and international, published between the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties. The performances will be voted on by the Demoscopica 1000 (33%), by the Jury in the press room (33%) and by the public at home via televoting (34%). In these performances, the artists will have the opportunity to decide whether to perform alone or be accompanied by Italian or foreign guests. At the end of the voting, a provisional ranking of the 25 artists in the competition will be drawn up, which will be added to that of the previous evenings.
