Yuval Raphael

Yuval Raphael is an Israeli singer. She was born in Ra’ana, in 2002 and she spent part of her childhood in Geneva, Switzerland. Yuval was a survivor of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on the Supernova music festival near Kibbutz Be’eri in Israel. Born in Ra’anana, Israel, 

Following this harrowing experience, Yuval became an advocate for justice and awareness. In March 2024, she testified before the United Nations Human Rights Council, sharing her story to highlight the atrocities committed and to seek justice for the survivors.

In November 2024, Yuval auditioned for “HaKokhav HaBa,” Israel’s national selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. She performed Demi Lovato’s “Anyone,” a song reflecting on mental health struggles, which resonated with her personal experiences from the festival attack. Her emotional rendition moved the judges and audience, earning her a 98% approval rating—the highest of the season—and advancing her to the final of the competition. On 22 January, she won the competition and thus was chosen to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest.
