Biography

V.I.P. is a Hungarian boy band. The group was established in 1997 in Budapest. Gergő Rácz wrote songs and sent them to BMG. They were interested in the songs because they wanted to compile a boyband. Manager Attila Környei called him and introduced him to Viktor Rakoncai, who invited Imre and Alex. In 1997  V.I.P. entered the Hungarian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, which they won. Thus, on May 3, 1997, they represented their country. In the same year, they released their first album.  After four albums, in March 2001 they decided to split up. On April 13, 2001. After the band dissolved, the members began their solo careers.
