Born on November 18, 1991, in Tallinn, Estonia, Cash boasts a diverse heritage that includes Estonian, Kazakh, Russian, and Ukrainian roots. He was raised in the working-class Kopli district of Tallinn.

In his youth, Cash engaged in graffiti art and developed a passion for dance, particularly freestyle forms incorporating elements of popping, krumping, and breakdancing. Despite not completing formal secondary education, he channeled his creative energies into painting and dance, which eventually paved the way for his musical career.

Cash began his musical journey in 2012, releasing tracks like “Dusk,” “Oldkool,” and “Toxic” on SoundCloud. His first live performance took place on December 7, 2012, at Peterson Café in Tallinn. In 2013, his song “Oldkool” was featured in a fashion collection advertisement by Liisa Orgna for the ERKI fashion show. That same year, he performed at the Patarei Kultuuritolm art and music festival and released his debut music video, “Guez Whoz Bak,” directed by Janar Aronija. In 2014, Cash unveiled the single “Alien Tears” and subsequently released the “C.R.E.A.M. EP,” which compiled his earlier works.

On September 29, 2014, Cash released the music video for “Euroz Dollaz Yeniz,” the lead single from his debut studio album of the same name, which was made available for free download on November 1, 2014. In 2015, he collaborated with Russian rave band Little Big on the track “Give Me Your Money,” accompanied by a web series titled “American Russians.” His 2016 single “Winaloto” garnered significant attention for its provocative music video, which he directed. This period also saw collaborations with artists like Charli XCX, featuring on her 2017 mixtape “Pop 2” in the track “Delicious.”

In 2018, Cash released singles such as “Pussy Money Weed” and “Little Molly,” both accompanied by visually striking music videos that bolstered his international profile. His second studio album, “¥€$,” dropped on November 30, 2018, featuring collaborations with artists like MC Bin Laden, Charli XCX, and Caroline Polachek, and producers including Danny L Harle and A. G. Cook. Cash supported the album with an extensive tour across 17 countries. In 2019, he joined Oliver Tree on the “Goodbye, Farewell Tour” across the U.S. and Canada, further expanding his global reach.

Throughout his career, Tommy Cash has collaborated with various artists, including Charli XCX, Oliver Tree, and the Russian rave band Little Big. In 2023, he teamed up with Finnish rapper Käärijä for the track “It’s Crazy It’s Party,” further expanding his international reach. His artistic endeavors extend beyond music; in 2021, he collaborated with fashion house Maison Margiela, showcasing his influence in the fashion industry.

In 2024, during a concert in Estonia, Cash hinted at a potential Eurovision participation, stating, “It’s 90% confirmed, that in 2025, Tommy Cash will go to Eurovision.” This announcement generated significant excitement among fans, anticipating his unique contribution to the renowned song contest.
