Theo Evan

Theo Evan (born Evangelos Theodorou) is a Greek-Cypriot singer-songwriter, dancer, and actor set to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Born in Nicosia, Evan grew up in a creative environment, performing in school choirs and dance groups from the age of seven. He began writing songs during his teenage years and gained recognition through theatrical productions and talent shows across Cyprus, earning several awards.

Evan pursued higher education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated with honors. His talents earned him invitations as an honorary guest to Berklee’s graduation ceremonies, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams. In 2021, he debuted with the single “The Wall” and later appeared in the hit television series Euphoria. After a period in Los Angeles, Evan returned to Cyprus to focus on his music career.

Announced as Cyprus’s Eurovision representative in 2024, Evan is the first Cypriot citizen to do so since 2017. His musical style draws inspiration from artists like Stromae and Michael Jackson, blending diverse influences including reggaeton. Evan’s dynamic artistry and global experiences make him a standout talent on the international stage.
