Biography

Sixteen was a Polish band, established in 1997. The band’s debut album “Lawa” was a great success in Poland and reached the platinum status. In 1998 the group was selected to represent Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest. When the group’s guitarist Jarosław Pruszkowski passed away in 1998, the group changed it’s name into Seventeen. Singer Renata Dąbkowska left the group for a solo career. Seventeen released two albums before they decided to split up in 2004.
