Biography
Six4One was formed specifically for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. The group’s name, which can be read as “six for one,” symbolized the unity of the six individual artists coming together for a single purpose, which was to represent Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
With their song “If We All Give a Little,” composed by Ralph Siegel and Bernd Meinunger, Six4One represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, Greece. They managed to qualify for the final and finished in a respectable 16th place.
The nature of Six4One meant it was a project rather than a permanent group. Following their Eurovision appearance, the members went their separate ways and continued with their individual careers in music or other endeavors.
It’s worth noting that Ralph Siegel, who was behind the song “If We All Give a Little,” is a significant figure in Eurovision history, having been involved in composing numerous entries for various countries, especially for Germany.
