Biography
Simone de Oliveirai s a Portuguese singer and actress. She started singing in high school, and started her career at the end of the 1950s. She represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1965, and in 1969.
The ’69 song was a great success in Portugal, but it was not successful at the Eurovision. Eleven years later she was again selected by RTP to represent her country in the ninth edition of the OTI Festival (The Latin American counterpart of the Eurovision Song Contest.
