Biography
Sandro Nicolas is an American-Greek singer. He was born and raised in Heinsberg, Germany. His father is American and his mother is Greek. He started playing drums and guitar lessons and from the age of 15 he started writing his own songs. In 2015, she took part in the talent show Das Supertalent. In 2018 he participated in the eighth season of “The Voice of Germany” (the German version of “The Voice”). He performed Shawn Mendes’ song “In My Blood”, making all four coaches rotate their chairs.
In 2019 he participated in the “New Wave Festival” in Sochi, Russia, representing the United States, finishing 6th. From there, he started using the pseudonym and artistic Sandro Nicolas.

He may have grown up in Germany but speaks fluent Greek because of his Greek roots and Greek education.
On November 29, 2019, the Cyprus Radio Foundation announced Sandro Nicolas as its representative for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, due to the cancellation of the contest.
Cypriot broadcaster CyBC decided not to invite Sandro for the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. Sandro himself changed his stage name in Sammy Clay, but is currently known as TYLR or Tylrfromheaven.
