Biography
Sandie Jones was an Irish singer from 1968 until 1981.She represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with the song “Ceol an Ghrá” ( This was the only occasion in the history of the contest on which an Irish performer performed a song in the Irish language.) During her career she released several singles. Later in her life she moved to the USA, where she died on September 19, 2019, aged 68.
