Biography

Robin Bengtsson, was born in Revesjö parish in what was then Älvsborg county, is a Swedish singer and songwriter.

Bengtsson came third in the talent program Idol 2008. In September 2013, he released his first single “I don’t like to wait”. His stage name then became B Robin. In January 2014, the single “Fired” was released with J-son as a guest artist.He has also released the EP “Under My Skin”, which included the songs “I don’t like to wait”, “Fired” and “Sleep on it”.

Bengtsson competed in Melodifestivalen 2016, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “Constellation Prize”. In the final he was one of the favorites but finished in fifth place. In Melodifestivalen 2017, he competed with the song “I Can’t Go On”. This time, he managed to win the contest. As a result, he represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest and finished in fifth place. In the same year, he took part in the Diggiloo tour during the summer.

In 2019, he teamed up with JLC. Their song “Friendzoned” became a hit in Sweden.

Bengtsson participated in Melodifestivalen 2020, part 1 in the Saab Arena in Linköping, and reached the eighth place in the final.

He participated in Melodifestivalen 2022 with the song “Innocent Love”, which became 11th. For the second time, Bengtsson was part of the Diggiloo shows.
