Biography
Reyhan Karaca is a Turkish pop singer. When she was only eight years old, she won the Istanbul Children’s choir award. She studied at the Istanbul Conservatory. When she started her career in 1987, it was as a studio musician and a backing vocalist. Her attempt to take part in the national selection for the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest with Melih Kibar failed. In 1991, she was more lucky and represented Turkey together with İzel Çeliköz and Can Uğurluer with the song “İki dakika”. She released five solo albums. In 2012, Reyhan joined the Abdullah Sahin Spot Theatre and had a main role in their play “Öldüm Öldüm Dirildim”. Three years later, she released a single, “Sobe”, recorded in New York studios with a music video shot in Philadelphia. Since 2016, she has a radio show on TRT radio.
