Biography
Reddi (often written only in capitals) is a Danish-Swedish pop rock band. The band consists of the two Danes Mathilde “Siggy” Savery (vocals, guitar) and Ihan Haydar (drums) as well as the two Swedes Agnes Roslund (guitar) and Ida Bergkvist (bass). The group was put together by Ihan Haydar and music producer Lars Pedersen (Chief 1) for the Danish Melodi Grand Prix 2022, the national preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Ihan Haydar was already at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 as a drummer for Soluna Samay. She is also a member of the urban pop group L.I.G.A., which is signed to a label owned by Lars Pedersen.
Reddi was able to qualify for the super final at the Melodi Grand Prix 2022 in Herning on March 5, 2022 and then prevailed with their song “The Show”, so they represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. However, the group failed to qualify for the final in the 1st semi-final.
