Biography
Peter, Sue and Marc were a Swiss trio. Susan Schell and Marc Dietrich met in 1968. They asked Peter Reber to join them and in 1970 they released their first EP. In 1971, they represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Les illusions de nos vingt ans”. In the meanwhile, they went to the World Popular Festival in Tokyo in 1971, 1972 and 1974. They also did attempts to represent their country 4 years in a row, from 1973 to 1976, the last time being successful with the song “Djambo Djambo”. They toured through Switzerland and had hits like “Ein neuer Tag” and “Zigeuner”. The song “Cindy” became an international hit. They did an attempt to represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1978, but really returned to the Eurovision stage in 1979 with “Trödler & Co.”, together with Pfuri, Gorps and Kniri. One year later, the song “Birds of paradise” became a huge hit in Switzerland and Germany. In 1981, they saw the Eurovision stage for the 4th and last time with the song “Io senza te”. 1 however, they performed as a trio for the last time before the band was disbanded. No less than four times however, they came together again for several occasions, the last time being in 2016.
