Biography

Noëlle Cordier is a French singer. She started her singing career in 1965. She represented France in the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Il doit faire beau là-bas”. In 1970, she participated in the European Cup of Knokke-Heist, as well as in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She played one of the main roles in the rock opera a Révolution Française in 1973. As a singer, she achieved tremendous success by singing the song “Tu t’en vas” with Alain Barrière in 1974. While she had several hits in France in the mid 1970s, she was also very successful in Quebec. In 1978, she participated in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest again. In 1981, she said goodbye to showbussines, but still performs every now and then.
