Biography

Moti Giladi (born December 18, 1946) is an Israeli actor, comedian, comedian and singer. In 1968, he played in a musical. In 1969 he released his first album. In 1970, he participated in the movie “Lupo”. During the 1970s, Giladi traveled to the United States, where he studied film, theater and plastic art at Queens College. In the 1980s, he returned to Israel and staged an entertainment show in which he performed imitations of artists and politicians. In 1991, he played in the award-winning film “Overseas” and received high acclaim for his acting. Since 2002, he is interested in singing Yiddish music. In 2014, Giladi performs with his daughter Doreen on the “Yiddish Maine Treasure” show.

Sarai Tsuriel (born December 24, 1952) is an Israeli actress and singer. She studied general literature and theater at Tel Aviv University. In 1976, she received her first role in the Be’er Sheva Theater in the play “Queen of Sheba”. She played many roles in almost all the theatres in Israel.
In 1978 she appeared in the role of Shula, the band’s officer, in Avi Nesher’s “The Band” movie. She later participated in the movie “The Cowards,” also directed by Avi Nesher. From 1983 to 1987 she played Kippy Ben Hedgehog in the children’s program “Sesame Street” on educational television. Between 1989 and 1990 she also played the role of Kippy Ben Hedgehog in the series: “Hello Sesame”, which was in English and Hebrew. In 19851987, she hosted a show on channel 1. In 1993, she played a pivotal role in the Hollywood movie “Hellbound” (Hellbound) alongside Chuck Norris. From 1994 to 1995, Zuriel launched a weekly lifestyle-style cocktail program on channel one.

Together, Moti Giladi and Sarai Tsuriel represented Israel in the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest.
