Biography

Miguel Núñez Pozo was born in Terrasa, Barcelona. He is better known under his stage name Miki Núñez or simply Miki. He is a Spanish singer.

Miki studied two years of Primary Education with a bilingual mention at the University of Barcelona, ​​but when he was going to do the third year career entered into Operación Triunfo.

Before becoming nationally known, he was a vocalist for the group Dalton Bangs, a cover band. As a result of his time in OT18, the group was renamed “Miki & The Dalton’s.

In 2018, Miki auditioned for the tenth season of Operación Triunfo. He reached the semifinal, getting the sixth position. As a contestant on Operación Triunfo, he was a candidate to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. For the first phase of the selection process, he was awarded three songs: “Elequilibrium” and “La venda” solo, and “Nadie se salva” in a duet with Natalia Lacunza. “La venda” was selected through the public vote to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in May in Tel Aviv. In the Eurovision final, Miki became 22nd.

After releasing his first album “Amuza”, composed of 13 pop-rock songs, the singer toured throughout Spain accompanied by his band, Dalton Bang.
Miki Núñez has also worked as a brand ambassador for international brands such as Gallina Blanca or Activia.

In 2020, Miki’s second album “Iceberg” was released. One of the songs from this album, “Me vale”, became a Gold disk. Since the 2022 season, Miki hosts the show Got Talent España.
