Biography
singer, cellist and vocal coach. She became known to the Dutch audience when she was chosen to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001. Her song ‘Out on my own’ was a huge chart success in The Netherlands. However, she did not manage to have a follow up for the song. In 2003 she finished her studies at the conservatoire. She wrote the song ‘boobs and brains’ for the ‘Femme van het jaar’ election in 2009. She played the cello in the band EinsteinBarbie.
