Biography
Mia Dimšić (Osijek, November 7, 1992) is a Croatian pop singer and songwriter. She was born in Osijek, Croatia.
Mia graduated in German and English at the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek. She presentrf her first single “Budi mi blizu” on October 12, 2015. Her debut album “Život nije siv”, released in 2017, became the best-selling album in Croatia in a very short time. The song of the same name was declared the most listened to and aired on radio stations in 2016, and the Croatian Record Association awarded the singer the recognition for the best young performer in the same year. In 2017, she held her first solo concert at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, entitled “Božićni koncert za male i velike”.
In collaboration with the Christian band Emanuel, she recorded two songs of a spiritual nature: “Kako divno i me” and “Zlatnih krila”. Her second album “Sretan put” was released in 2019. In August, “Sva blaga ovog svijeta” climbed to the number one position, making it Dimšić’s sixth single to top the HR Top 40 chart as lead artist.
In 2022, Mia won Dora, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, and thus represented Croatia in the international final.
