Biography
Luči Kapurso and Hamo Hajdarhodžić were two members of a larger group called Dubrovački Trubaduri. The band released their first single in 1966. They were known from playing pop and folk songs. In 1968, the group won Jugovizija, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. However, in 1968 it was not allowed to have a group with six members on stage, so they decided to present Luči and Hamo as a duo, with the others as backing vocals. Only band member Slobodan Berdović was not on stage. They had an international hit with their Eurovision Song “Jedan dan”.
They were very popular in the former Yugoslavia in the 1960s and 1970s. They performed frequently in medieval and Renaissance attire. In 1980, the group released their last album.
