Biography
Lise Håvik is a Norwegian-born Danish singer, born in Narvik. She moved to Denmark in 1982 for her studies.
In the same year, she joined the “Se & Hørs” amateur singing competition, where she ended in 2nd place. And then met John Hatting, who was looking for a duo partner. They started working together in 1983 under the name of Trax, and soon after that they married.
In 1984 and 1985, the duo took part in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix as a duo. They won it in 1986, but Lise represented Denmark as a solo singer. John wrote the song and was one of the backing vocals. Two years later, Lise also did an attempt to represent Norway.
Haavik continued to work with music, with her latest work, in English “Cry Me a River”, published in 2007.
