Biography

Born in London, England, Jade Ewen discovered her passion for music at a young age. Encouraged by her family, she honed her singing and acting skills and attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School. Jade’s natural talent and dedication to her craft set the stage for a promising career in the entertainment industry.

Jade’s breakthrough came in 2009 when she was selected to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, Russia. Her powerful performance of the song “It’s My Time,” written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren, led to a respectable fifth-place finish.

Following her Eurovision success, Jade joined the British girl group Sugababes in 2009, replacing founding member Keisha Buchanan. With Jade, the group released the album “Sweet 7” in 2010, which featured the hit singles “About a Girl” and “Wear My Kiss.”

In addition to her singing career, Jade has demonstrated her versatility as an actress and performer, taking on roles in various West End productions, including “Aladdin,” “In the Heights,” and “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.” Her ability to excel in both music and theatre has earned her praise from critics and fans alike, solidifying her reputation as a multi-talented entertainer.

Following the Sugababes’ hiatus in 2011, Jade continued to pursue her passion for music and acting. She has released solo music and remained involved in various theatre productions.
