Biography
Inge Brück is a German singer, born in Mannheim. She began her singing career with the dance orchestra Erwin Lehn, whose then pianist Horst Jankowski became aware of her. After a television appearance with Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff she received a recording contract. Her first tv performance was in the German jazz festival in 1956. Her first hit was “Peter, komm heut’ abend zum Hafen” in 1957. Four years later, she took part in the German Schlager Festival in Baden Baden. In 1966, she represented Germany at the Song Contest in Rio the Janeiro and in 1967 at the Eurovision Song Contest.
She was part of the tv-series “Miss Molly Mill” in 1970. After this, she started recording songs with a religious content. Inge Brück was first married to director Michael Pfleghar and second husband to director Klaus Überall. She currently lives in Meschede.
