Biography

Harmony was a Dutch band, established in 1976 in Utrecht. Members Rosina and Ab had previously been members of the band Sommerset, while Donald played in Liberation of Man. In 1977, they teamed up with Eddy Ouwens, in order to participate in the 1978 national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. They sang two songs: “Bim bam bom” and ” ‘t Is OK”, the latter being the winner. The group represented the Netherlands in the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest.
After the Eurovision Song Contest, Harmony was able to do performances throughout the country, but a follow up single and an album never came. Rosina published a record as a solo singer in 1980, and two years later she joined the group Champagne. With this group, she scored two minor hits.
Rosina Brochard-Louwaars also performed on Eurovision-related events in the Netherlands, such as “J’aime la Vlie” and “Eurovision In Concert”.
