Getter Jaani, born on February 3, 1993, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a renowned Estonian pop singer and actress, widely recognized for her versatile talent in music and theatre.
Jaani’s educational journey includes completing ninth grade at Tallinn Kristiine Gymnasium and pursuing tailoring and styling at Tallinn School of Industrial Education. She also attended Kaari Sillamaa’s Children’s School of Fine Arts, enhancing her artistic skills, and graduated from Audentes e-gymnasium in 2015.
Her career took off in 2010 with the launch of her solo career in collaboration with Moonwalk, a record label. Her debut single “Parim päev” became the most played radio hit in Estonia that year, paving the way for her subsequent successes. She released several albums, including “Parim päev” EP (2010), “Rockefeller Street” (2011), “Jõuluvalgus” (2011), and “DNA” (2014), showcasing her evolving musical style.
Getter’s singles have demonstrated her range and ability to resonate with a broad audience. From “Vaid Suve” (with Chapter One) in 2010 to “Mitu mind” in 2020, her discography includes hits like “Grammofon,” “Valged ööd,” and “NYC Taxi.” Her collaborations with artists like Mihkel Raud and Koit Toome, in singles like “Me kõik jääme vanaks” and “Rannamaja,” respectively, highlight her versatility.
