Biography
Galit Bell is an Israeli singer, born in Hatzor Haglilit. Already at the age of 12, she took part in talent contests. She won first prizes for three years in a row.
She rose to fame when she won kdam Eurovision, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 1996 with the song “Shalom olam”. Unfortunately, she did not reach the final. After Eurovision she kept on performing but she only released her debut album in 2001. Shortly after the release of this album, she decided to retire from showbusiness.
Galit Bell is married and has two children. She currently lives in Beit Hashmonai.
