Fabrizio Faniello

Fabrizio Faniello, born on April 27, 1981, in Floriana, Malta, is a Maltese pop singer renowned for representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001 and 2006. He developed an early passion for music, participating in various song festivals and stage performances in Malta from the age of nine.

In 2001, Faniello won the Maltese national selection with the song “Another Summer Night,” earning him the opportunity to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. He achieved ninth place in the final.

Faniello returned to Eurovision in 2006 with the song “I Do.” Despite his previous success, he finished 24th in the grand final.

Throughout his career, Faniello has released several albums, including “While I’m Dreaming” (2001), “When We Danced” (2004), “Believe” (2005), “Hits & Clips” (2007), “No Surrender” (2011), and “Unexpected” (2018). His 2004 single “I’m in Love (The Whistle Song)” achieved significant chart success, reaching number seven in Sweden and number eleven in Finland.

In 2023, Faniello participated in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Try to Be Better,” finishing in eighth place.

In 2025, Faniello formed the trio JVF with fellow Maltese singers Jessika Muscat and Victorio Gauci. The group entered the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song “Festa (No Time for Siesta).” They were selected as semi-finalists and are set to perform in the competition scheduled for February 2025.
