Biography

Eleftheria Eleftheriou is a Cypriot singer. She was born on May 12, 1989, in Paralimni, Cyprus, and grew up in Frenaros in the Ammochostos Province. At the age of 9, she began lessons in music theory and piano. At 15, she took vocal lessons for a year. After some performances in music bands and as a soloist in the folk orchestra of RIK, she began her professional singing career at the age of 18.

During her studies at the University of Surrey in southern England in Music and Performance, she worked for a year in a Greek venue as a singer.

Career

In 2009, she participated in the second season of the Greek TV music competition The X-Factor, where she managed to reach the fifth live show. Specifically, the songs she performed during her time there included: “Den milo gia mia nykhta ego” (live 1), “Kopse kai moirase sta dyo” (live 2), “Kathe fora pou me koitazeis” (live 3), “Girls just wanna have fun” and “Stin Diskotek” (live 4) and “No One” (live 5).
