Biography
Eiríkur Hauksson is an Icelandic heavy metal vocalist who is trained as a teacher. Eiríkur’s career as a vocalist began in earnest when the song “Sekur” he wrote and performed with the Icelandic rock group Start was voted the Icelandic song of the year in 1981.He was a member of several bands, in Iceland and Norway. He also had a succesfull solo career. He participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and 1986 , representing Iceland, and in 1991 representing Norway.
