Biography

Eamonn Toal is an Irish singer and showman. He was born in Castleblayney, county Monaghan.

Toal lived in London for a few years, but has lived in Meath since 1995. He attended the Bel Canto School in Dublin. At the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 he was a background singer with the Irish participant Eddie Friel. In 2000 he was selected himself: He won the national final and was therefore allowed to travel to the city of Stockholm for the Eurovision Song Contest 2000. With his ballad “Millennium of Love” he reached sixth place there. 

As a soloist or with The Eamonn Toal Band, he continues to make music for weddings, dinners and gala events.
