Biography
Orna Cohen was born in Holon, Israel, to a Jewish family. At age 17, she was elected “Miss Holon”. In 1987 she married the singer Moshe Datz and they became known as the Duo Datz. They recorded their first album “The Way of love” in 1985. They had a varied repertoire from childrens songs to middle of the road music. Among others, Duo Datz released videos and DVDs for children. Moshe Datz composed many songs for the duo. Duo Datz participated in the Kdam 1987, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with “Kupidon”. They finished 4th. Four years later they won Kdam with “Kan” and represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest. The couple divorced on December 22, 2006.
