Biography
Dominique Walter is a French former singer. He is the son of Michèle Arnaud, who represented Luxembourg at the very first Eurovision Song Contest, in 1956. He started his musical career in 1965, and was elected internally one year later to represent France at the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest. Afterwards Serge Gainsbourg, a friend of his mother’s, wrote some songs for him, which were unsuccessful for him, due to the harsh, at times misogynistic lyrics. Collaboration with Michel Polnareff also remained below expectations. In 1972 he finally said goodbye to the music business.
