Biography

Dida Drăgan is a Romanian singer and poetess. She participated successfully  in several international music festivals: in 1972 at the Music Festival Mamaia (1st place), 1974 at the International Schlagerfestival in Dresden (3rd place), in 1975 at the Knokke Cup and at the Songcontest in Tokyo. She recorded three singles in German for the DDR label Amiga in the seventies. In 1993 she tried to be the first Romanian participant in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Nu plecu”. Unfortunately she failed to qualify in Kvalifikacija Za Millstreet. Dragan released a total of five albums.
