Biography
Debbie Scerri is a Maltese singer and tv-host. She was born in Toronto and spent a part of her childhood in Rabat. Debbie took part in many various local Song Festivals. In 1993 she was one of the backing vocalist for William Mangion in the Eurovision Song Contest. A year later, she represented Malta in the European Union Song Contest Cyprus & Malta. She won a Best Performance Award in the 1996 and 1997 Malta Music Awards for best singer. In 1997, she represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest. Debbie also performed in numerous musicals. She released six albums.
