Biography

Danijel is a pop singer.  In 1972 he debuted as a singer by winning a contest in Titograd. In 1973 he took part in the festival of Opatija. Three years later he did the same as a member of the group Entuzijasti. In the early 1980’s Daniel was a member of Grešnici and regularly played in Zagreb. He released is first album “Ja sam žena” in 1983, when he also represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Džuli”. The album ánd the single were a big succes in Yugoslavia.  After Eurovision Daniel failed to build on his triumph. In the late 1980s, the success of his career declined. The first part of 1991 he performed on the last Jugovizija with the song “Daj obuci levisice”, winning 2nd place. He stayed in Croatia during the war and disappeared into anonymity after a few unsuccessful albums.
