Biography
Although Cocktail Chic was only active in 1986, especially for the Eurovision Song Contest, the four women (2 sisters and 2 cousins) already sang together in the late 1960s. However, their name was Les OP’4. When they were discovered by French singer Claude François, he renamed them Les Fléchettes. They released a few singles, but most of the time they worked as backing vocals. Francine and Dominique won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1977 as backing vocals of Marie Myriam. As a group, their success faded after the death of Claude François in 1978. Eight years later they were back and represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest. It seemed a one-time experience, but in recent years they perform as Les Fléchettes again.
