Biography
Burak Aydos is a Turkish singer, composer, songwriter. He started his music career in 1983 by taking solfeggio and piano lessons. In 1987, he was accepted to the Ankara State Conservatory, but was expelled a year later because he was inadequate. In 1991, he competed in the finals of TRT’s Golden Antenna Composition Competition.
In 1993, he was chosen to represent Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Esmer yarim”. In 1995, he took a break from university education and released a solo album.
Burak Aydos gained a very wide audience with Lonely “Eski Sevgilim”. The song was reinterpreted in a different style in 2005. Burak Aydos has now quit his musical career.
